Interference Festival 2016 is the 3rd. Festival of Visual Communication in Gdańsk, Poland. This interdisciplinary project is focused on selecting leading artists of short visual forms during the International Contest ‘Freedom of Form’ in 4 categories: Found Footage, Music Video, Creative Advertising Piece and Experimental Short Visual Form.
Visuals, music videos, teasers, creative advertising forms, jingles and video art, experiments on the border of art – that is what you’ll see during the one of the most interesting events of the kind in the Central Europe. Interference Festival equals a new, unconventional form of the the open-minded festival in which one the most important aim is to discover and to look for the best video avant-garde artists.
The international overview and the contest of visual communication forms are accompanied by a rich program – concerts, video projections, installations, meetings & discussions, workshops, Masterclass lectures and VJ Battle. You can also take part in the open call for International Contest VJ BATTLE – the Jury will select 8 Vjs who will challenge at the VJ Battle finals at Interference Festival 2016.
